Take the bus
King County Metro Transit (kingcounty.gov/tripplanner) provides Duvall with bus service via one route. All King County Metro buses have bike racks, and fares start at $2.75, with reduced fares for youths, seniors, low-income, and persons with disabilities.
- Service to Redmond via Redmond Ridge
- Monday-Friday service every 90-100 minutes from 5am to 8pm
Snoqualmie Valley Transportation (svtbus.org), in cooperation with King County Metro, the Mt. Si Senior Center, and the Snoqualmie Tribe, provides door-to-door and fixed route services.
Snoqualmie Valley Transportation:
- Services on weekdays every 90 minutes; $1 suggested donation per trip
- Serves Monroe, Duvall, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie, and North Bend
- Use the shuttle to get to medical appointments, grocery stores, jobs, or other activities
- Orca cards not accepted

Rideshare
If taking the bus does not meet your needs, consider participating in a rideshare. RideShare options include carpool, vanpool, and SchoolPool.
Another great rideshare option is Duvall’s Community Van program. The Community Van is a pilot project between King County Metro and the City of Duvall to provide you a way to share the ride locally when traditional bus service does not meet your needs. Here is how it works:
Duvall-Carnation Community Van

- Trips can take place throughout King County but require at least 2 riders and 1 volunteer driver
- No fixed routes & no eligibility. Trip based on where the community wants to go
- Vans available days/evenings/weekends depending on volunteer driver availability
- Fare is $2.75 round trip regardless of time or distance. Plus free transfers to King County Metro buses within a 2 hour window
- Fare types: Monthly ORCA card, Transit Go, or Human Services bus tickets
- 6 and 12 passenger vans including wheelchair accessibility

Hyde Shuttle:
- Sound Generations provides this shuttle service for individuals 55+ and people with disabilities of all ages
- Rides available on weekdays from 8am to 4:30pm
- Donations are welcome

Access:
- Run by King County Metro, Access provides paratransit service to people with disabilities who can’t use bus or rail service
- Access can take you to/from anywhere Metro bus or rail service can

Catholic Community Services:
- Volunteer driven transportation for adults 60+ and people with disabilities
- Trips to medical appointments, grocery store, and other essential errands
- Requests must be submitted 7 days in advance and are met based on volunteer availability

- Volunteers use their own vehicles to provide transportation for King County residents age 60+ to and from medical

Microsoft Connector
If you are a full-time Microsoft employee, you have an extra option for your commute. The Microsoft Connector (connectorride.com), a corporate sponsored shuttle, has a bus stop at Holy Innocents Catholic Church on Cherry Valley Road, on the north side of town.
Snow routes
We don’t get a lot of snow in Duvall. Thank goodness! But, when we do, it is important to know the snow routes that the City of Duvall has in place. These are the streets that get the quickest attention for plowing, sanding, and de-icing. You can find the city’s Snow Route Map at duvallwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/511.
