2026 Board Nominations for Duvall Chamber Board of Directors

It's time again to NOMINATE 3 Officers (President, VP and Secretary) and 11 Directors for next year's 2026 Duvall Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

We need YOUR Nominations! We are looking for innovative, energetic, new or experienced, thoughtful and committed individuals to lead us in 2026 and support the business recovery and positive direction of helping our business community. Make a difference and nominate Members you'd be proud to have as contributing representatives of our Chamber.

Nominations close on October 31st and then voting will begin at our Annual Member Meeting on November 6th.

2026 Board Nominations

The end of 2025 is drawing near, and it is time again to elect the next Board of Directors for the Duvall Chamber of Commerce. We are looking for some creative, energetic and committed individuals to lead us into 2026 and continue the growth and positive direction of helping our business community.

Members vote on final seats to be announced during the Annual Member Meeting on November 6th.

Once you select YES to nominate you will find a list of Members to select from. You are not required to nominate for all positions, and you are encouraged to nominate yourself, if you’d like to be considered for the position.

OFFICER TEAM:

The Officer terms are 2 years each, elected on a rotating schedule. The Duvall Chamber President and Secretary positions are up for Nomination for 2-year terms effective 2026-2028. The Vice-President position is open for the last year of a 2-year term, serving from 2026-2027.

PRESIDENT - Do you want to nominate a Member?

The President shall serve as the chief elected Officer of the Chamber and shall preside at all meetings of the membership and Board of Directors. The President shall make annual reports showing the condition of the affairs of the Chamber and may make such recommendations as he or she deems proper and submit them to the Chamber and its Members at the annual meeting. The President shall be an ex-officio Member of all division and committees of the Chamber. The President shall supervise the administrative staff. This is a two-year term.

VICE PRESIDENT - Do you want to nominate a Member?

ln the absence of the President, the Vice President shall take his/her place. The Vice President shall discharge such duties as may be assigned by the President. This is only for the 2nd year of a 2-year term.

SECRETARY - Do you want to nominate a Member?

The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the Board meetings in one or more books provided for that purpose. The Secretary shall see that all notices are given in accordance within the provisions of these bylaws or are required by law. A Chamber Administrator shall keep a registry of the addresses of each Member of the Chamber which shall be furnished to the Chamber Administrator by such Members. Secretary shall coordinate with the Administrators and President in maintaining files of past board minutes, reports and documents in proper order. In general, the Secretary shall perform all duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President. This is a two-year term.

DIRECTORS - Do you want to nominate a Member? (System Allows you to Select up to 11 Members)

The Duvall Chamber Director Team Consists of 11 Director positions. Individual descriptions and duties to be determined when the Board forms and sets visions and goals for the year during their January Retreat. Each Director will need to select at least one annual Chamber Project or Committee to Lead, and support other projects as needed. Directors need to attend monthly Board Meetings and attend 8 of 11 Monthly Member Meetings. We look for Directors to volunteer to attend 2 City Council Meetings per year as a Chamber Representative. Directors are encouraged to attend as many Ribbon Cutting ceremonies as they can, to support Members. This is a one-year term.
